The owner of Wilson Tennis Academy is Wilson Salazar Jr, born and
raised in Houston, Texas.

Wilson began his tennis career at the age of four years old when his
father, Wilson Salazar Sr, was an active player from the United States
Tennis Association. Wilson’s dad is his friend, trainer, and coach.

Wilson Jr at an early age began playing tennis tournaments using
orange and green balls.

Through the years Wilson has played hundreds of tournaments within
Texas, including major cities such as Dallas, San Antonio, Corpus Christi,
Wichita Falls, Austin, and Houston. He has been able to accumulate
points to qualify to play in the Super Championship level. He has also
accumulated hundreds of points with the new system implemented by
USTA, and he continues to play these high level tournaments and
improving his ranking.

While attending Mayde Creek High School, he has won the “Most
Valuable Player” award as well as receiving the award and being
recognized for “Second Team All District for Boys Singles” from Katy
Independent School District
